The
Greeting Card Association announced Paper so Pretty as a nominee in the
23rd Annual LOUIE Awards! Up for the award in the Imprintable-Everyday category is our First Birthday Cupcake Girl invitation. A
panel of 20 judges scored entries on a scale of 1-10 for Imagination,
Impact, Artistry, Harmony, Sendability and Value, so needless to say, we are absolutely thrilled to be nominated for this prestigious award!

LOUIE Awards recognize creative excellence in the industry.
The LOUIE Awards represent the greeting card industry’s highest honor for creative and publishing excellence.
Officially
known as the International Greeting Card Awards Competition, the
LOUIE's are named after Louis Prang, the German-born Boston lithographer
credited with the birth of the U.S. Christmas card in the 1870's.
The
prestigious LOUIE awards recognize the most outstanding cards marketed
in the U.S. during the previous calendar year. Sponsored by the Greeting
Card Association, the competition is open to all domestic and foreign
greeting card publishers.
The LOUIE award winners are announced each May at a gala in New York City.

Paper so Pretty named a WINNER at the 22nd Annual LOUIE Awards
We are absolutely thrilled and delighted to win such a prestigious award! The Greeting Card Association announced Paper so Pretty as a winner in the Imprintable-Everyday category for the 22nd Annual Greeting Card Awards competition, otherwise known as the LOUIE Awards. A panel of 20 judges scored entries on a scale of 1-10 for Imagination, Impact, Artistry, Harmony, Sendability and Value. Winners in each of the 56 categories were announced at the Lighthouse in Chelsea Piers in New York City on May 17th, 2010.

Frank Bielec
TV Personality and artist designer, Frank Bielec, introduces his new line of stationery that features his artwork. The colorful line includes items for all occasions and features his signature monster paintings in addition to his traditional line. Frank has been an artist for years and his experiences include working on a home improvement reality show. This is the first time his creativity has evolved into stationery products.
If you're looking for kooky, bold, over-the-top fun, take a look at Frank Bielec's new line, designed excusively for Paper so Pretty. Frank's designs are quite a departure from Paper so Pretty designs, but we're loving it and we're sure you will too!

Frank Bielec Release Party at the Paper Daisy!
Paper Daisy, located at 17515 Spring Cypress Road in Cypress, Texas hosted a fun-filled night with Frank Bielec. Wine and cheese were on the menu and all in attendance had a blast meeting Frank for the first time and listening to his stories. Sharpie in hand, he signed autographs and illustrated pictures on the spot. Here are some photos of the event.
