Information We Collect and How We Use it
Paper so Pretty collects from our users only the information that is necessary to complete an order - billing information only. NO credit card information is taken when an order is being generated. A Paper so Pretty Customer Service Representative will contact you for any credit information. We will not sell, share or rent this information to others in any ways other than disclosed in this privacy statement.
Registration is for valid resellers only. If you are an individual and wish to purchase Paper so Pretty products please refer to our Where to Buy section to locate the retailer nearest you. Registration is not required in order to use our site. Registered users have have the ability to view pricing and other customer options required with Registration. This information is then used to contact the user about the products and services on our site for which they have expressed interest.
We request information from the user on our order form. Here a user must provide contact information (like store name, username, email address, shipping address, phone number and fax) and billing address information. This information is used for billing purposes and to fill the customer's order. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user. If you submit a different address for shipping than for billing, that personal information is only used for the purpose of shipping the package.
If a user wishes to subscribe to any future newsletter, we ask only for contact information such as name and email address. You may subscribe to the newsletter simply by sending an email to email@example.com. You may unsubscribe by sending an email to the same address.
This website takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline when our registration/order form asks to enter sensitive information. We have an in-house fulfillment department to ship orders and an in-house secure transaction process to charge users for goods and services. These entities do not retain, share, store or use personal identification information for any secondary purposes, and are prohibited from using the data for any other purposes.
We send all new registered members a welcoming email to verify password and username. Established members will occasionally receive information on products, services, special offers and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Please see our choice policy below.
Correction/Updating Personal Information
If a user's personal identification information changes (such as your store name, address, zip code or phone, etc.), or if a user no longer desires our services, we will provide a way to correct, update or remove that user's personal data provided to us. This can be done by emailing our Customer Support at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Registered users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter or promotional materials may opt-out of receiving these communications. Simply reply to the message and enter the word “unsubscribe” as the subject line. You may also unsubscribe by emailing us at email@example.com.
Notification of Changes
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law where we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our website.
